Dr Dancan Irungu

Dr. Irungu was appointed as an Independent Director of Longhorn Publishers PLC in May 2023. He has vast experience and expertise as a practitioner and a scholar in the fields of Strategic Planning, Organization Development, Entrepreneurship and Project Management. He is the Current Dean of Graduate School, Amref International University and Director of Entrepreneurship. He is the immediate former Director of Planning and Entrepreneurship at Daystar University, and a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business & Economics of the same university. He has been a technical advisor and lead consultant for projects funded by GOK, World Bank, Global Fund, USAID – KEA and European Union.

Dr. Irungu holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration & Management from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, a Master’s Degree in Project Management and Planning, and a Bachelor of Education Degree in Mathematics and Business, both from the University of Nairobi.
